The Kalibobo Spirit  returned from Cairns on Nov 28 following its annual survey, Master/Owner, Sir Peter Barter said that the seas were very calm however the speed with a little slower as the Kalibobo towed the new Dallman Diver, a professional, dedicated dive vessel that will join the fleet operated by Niugini Diving Adventures.   On arrival, cargo was unloaded, furniture placed back and on 21 Nov was used to take 160 people from the Pacific Eden on cruises of the Madang Harbour.   Sir Peter took his family including grandchildren to Bagabag Island with Takahiro, the NDA Dive Master to check out  dive sites on Bagabag, all were impressed with the clarity of water and impressive reefs that surround Bagabag.
The next expedition will be on Nov 27-Jan 02 up the Sepik River, the vessel is almost fully booked apart from 2 cabins.

In 2017 the Kalibobo Spirit has been scheduled to undertake several weekend dive trips to Bagabag Island, cruises to the Sepik River as well as two trips through Milne Bay offering both diving and cultural visits to the Trobriand Islands.

NDA has published the 2017 Dive Rates and packages and the staff is expected to increase by another Dive Instructor from Fiji to meet the growing demand for diving in Madang.  Rates can be downloaded from www.nda.com
